♻️Value Cycle

From our previous experience as a blockchain game dev, we found that there needs to be three categories of actors For a user-driven blockchain gaming economy to thrive;
Content Creator
Gamer
Speculator
The Content Creator can vary from a game development studio to Character Builders, the prime content producer for the rest of the community. The creators will be the main contributors to the Prism DAO, making new character arcs, monsters, and in-game assets while being rewarded for their creativite on-chain. Gamers include Web 2 and Web 3 gamers, but since the majority of gamers are still Web 2 gamers, they are inherently spenders, not holders. The Speculators are those who do not necessarily play the games but decide to bet on the ecosystem's growth.
Without the constant update on games, gamers will churn, making speculators leave the ecosystem too. Without sufficient secondary market trading volume made through Speculators, the tokens distributed through rewards will have a larger impact on the ecosystem, resulting in fewer motives for all three groups of actors.
To capture all three groups of actors we use the 30% app distribution fee to our advantage. The in-game purchase price of the $PRISM token will be approximately 30%~ higher than the secondary market price to cover platform fees and municipal taxes.
As the fiat price for in-game utilities is fixed, and gamers only purchase tokens to spend not hold, this price difference between the in-app purchase and secondary market has minimal effect on the gamers' willingness to pay. But for more crypto-savvy gamers will purchase from secondary markets to avoid the price difference.
Speculators can also expect that the secondary market price for the token could increase due to this arbitrage opportunity, and since there is a fixed amount of competition rewards in games, there will be a positive correlation between the token price and the number of gamers.
This positive value cycle can be shown in the diagram below:
$PRISM token will be used in any utility functions that require payment throughout the ecosystem. The payment can be made in the off-chain form of the token within games which will be moved from the users' wallet to the Game Admin Master Wallet.
50% of all accrued tokens from in-game and Prism utility functions will be allocated to the Treasury wallet, and the other 50% will be sent to the game developer to promote the growth of the gaming ecosystem.
